Mrs. Katrin Parry (née Axelson), of McKinney, TX, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the age of 60.

Katrin, nicknamed Kaki, was born to parents Eric and Kathleen Axelson on March 10, 1957 in Dallas, TX. She grew up the eldest of three children, attended R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton, TX, and graduated Texas Woman’s University in 1979. Katrin married Gary Parry in January of 1980 and held several jobs over the years. Her longest and favorite job was as a stay at home mom taking care of her husband and two children. Katrin was an avid reader and enjoyed old classic movies. Her most loved traits were her sassy sense of humor and infectious laughter which will be missed by all. Above all else, she had great love for her Catholic faith.

Katrin is survived by her husband, Gary; her son, Adam Parry (Carrie) of Miamisburg, OH; her daughter, Katie Parry of McKinney, TX; her sister, Emily Oldfield (Stephen) of The Colony, TX; her brother Eric Axelson (Rosemarie) of Alexandria, VA; her grandsons Isaac and Jeffrey, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eric and Kathleen Axelson.
